A ropes course, located in the Humboldt Redwoods, is a challenging outdoor personal development and team building activity which consists of high and/or low elements. Low elements take place on the ground or only a few feet above the ground.  High elements are constructed in redwood trees and  require a belay for safety.

Ropes courses are referred to using several different names, including Challenge Courses, Ropes Challenge Courses, Teams Course, and Low Ropes.

Information:  The Arcata Ropes Course is designed to be an open community model - meaning any group or organization can rent the course if they have trained staff and appropriate liability insurance.  

 

Location:  The Arcata Ropes Course is located in Humboldt County, California in the City of Arcata’s Redwood Park.  There are sites on the North and South end of the park.  http://www.cityofarcata.com/index.php?option=content&task=view&id=102&It...
