Rain Days...and Weeks
IT IS SOAKED UP HERE! Our winter in Humboldt has finally arrived meaning that outside climbing will be limited to the small windows over the next few months. That doesn't mean that you can't be preparing and planning for a Summer outdoor climbing trip. Far North Climbing Gym has been bustling with climbers, new and experienced, enjoying the refuge from the wet weather. Planning early, many of these people already have their sights set on climbing goals for when the weather improves. It is also a great time for new climbers to meet other people just joining the climbing community. We have a very nice and balanced community at the climbing gym these days. Everyone is very supportive of each other and it makes all the hard work from everyone put into the gym worth it.
I am so happy that we already have some outdoor climbing trips booked in March and April. It is looking to be a very busy year for NCAC. Over the last few years I have learned that planning ahead is CRUCIAL. It helps ensure that you will be going on that trip you have always dreamed of. Please email me if you have any interest or questions about the climbing programs we have for NCAC or Far North Climbing Gym. If you need any guidance about the local area and it's adventure sports feel free to send a message. More to come soon on trainings and great trips we are planning.
Take care,
Matt
