California's North Coast is one of the wildest and most beautiful areas of the state.  Our region boasts virtually all of the publicly-owned old-growth redwoods as well as a bounty of easily-observed wildlife in a diversity of habitats ranging from forest and prairie to marsh and beach.  This tour will sample a variety of habitats and cover the basic elements of their ecology including ecosystem processes, representative species, and conservation issues.  We will adjust the tour to the wishes and abilities of the group. 

The tour will be 2-4 hours in addition to your other booked tour, in the same location or as a stand alone tour. Please note: This is a flat rate tour; no matter the amount of participants in your group, the price will be the same and you will get one guide.  Same day tours may be available but are not guaranteed. A 48-hour advance reservation is recommended.  Once this segment is booked a guide will contact you within 12-48 hours.  If you need a tour IMMEDIATELY, please call us at (800) 808-2836 in advance of booking.  

*Once dates are confirmed with your guide, cancellations prior to 14 days of the tour will be refunded all moneys paid less a $30 handling fee. Cancellations between 3 and 14 days before the tour will forfeit their deposit (50%). Cancellations less than 3 days before the tour will forfeit the full price of the tour.
