A ropes course, located in the Humboldt Redwoods, is a challenging outdoor personal development and team building activity which consists of high and/or low elements. Low elements take place on the ground or only a few feet above the ground. High elements are constructed in redwood trees and require a belay for safety.
Ropes courses are referred to using several different names, including Challenge Courses, Ropes Challenge Courses, Teams Course, and Low Ropes.
Information: The Arcata Ropes Course is designed to be an open community model - meaning any group or organization can rent the course if they have trained staff and appropriate liability insurance.
Location: The Arcata Ropes Course is located in Humboldt County, California in the City of Arcata’s Redwood Park. Cancellations prior to 14 days of the tour will be refunded all moneys paid less a $20 handling fee per person. Cancellations between 3 and 14 days before the tour will forfeit their deposit (50%). Cancellations less than 3 days before the tour will forfeit the full price of the tour.
