Rock climb with North Coast Adventure Centers on the beach and along the bluffs of the North Coast, classic Humboldt at its best!  Learn the basics of climbing - belaying and vertical climbing techniques.  Whether your bouldering or top roping, our knowledgeable trainers will help you gain the experience and skill necessary to begin your climbing journeys.

Our tours are great for small groups, families, and excited individuals.  Trips meet at Far North Climbing Gym at 10th and K in Arcata.  After a brief meeting and paperwork we head over to our rock climbing spot and begin our safety orientation (We'll give you a map so you don't get lost and can leave directly from the rock).  Our 1/2 day rock climbing program runs for about 4 hours.  We'll teach you how to safely belay climbers as well as give you basic climbing instruction up to 70 feet.  If your arms are up for it we will take you to some of our prime bouldering spots where you will learn how to safely traverse rocks just 6-10 feet off the ground.

*Please note, if less than 3 people sign up for a tour, an additional $10 will be charged per person. Cancellations prior to 14 days of the tour will be refunded all moneys paid less a $20 handling fee per person. Cancellations between 3 and 14 days before the tour will forfeit their deposit (50%). Cancellations less than 3 days before the tour will forfeit the full price of the tour.
