Vocational Training - Promoting Touism through Jobs: This is a joint project between Del Norte School District and North Coast Adventure Centers.

2011 Community Dates: May 28, July 30, Septmeber 24, and November 26:  Join North Coast Adventure Centers at Sunset High School for a Canopy Tour 70 feet up in the redwoods of Del Norte County. You will start on the ground learning terms and techniques needed to safely maneuver through the canopy. After the training is completed the next challenge will be to ascend up into the redwoods and ride a series of ziplines through the canopy. Our trained guides will help you step out of your comfort zone and experience the beauty of the redwood canopy.  Climbing, zipping, and rappelling through the trees will help you appreciate their power and beauty. 

*Please note, base pricing for community canopy tours is $49 per person.  Cancellations prior to 14 days of the tour will be refunded all moneys paid less a $20 handling fee per person. Cancellations between 3 and 14 days before the tour will forfeit their deposit (50%). Cancellations less than 3 days before the tour will forfeit the full price of the tour.
