This course combined with Adventure Guide and Programming Basics is designed to meet the curriculum requirements of ACCT Challenge Course Practitioner Level 1. You will learn the importance of sequencing, full value contracts and challenge by choice.  We will explore the

Experiential Learning Cycle and how it guides the challenge course professional. We will introduce you to group processing/debriefing. Learn how to present games and initiatives when working with groups. You will learn to set up and facilitate low ropes course elements. Finally we will teach you to set up and safely run high ropes course elements. 

This course combined with Advanced Adventure Programming is designed to meet the curriculum requirements of ACCT Challenge Course Practitioner Level 2. You will learn the skills necessary to lead other facilitators while delivering a superior challenge course experience to clients. We will develop your technical skills while you learn how and then practice performing rescues from high elements. 

North Coast Adventure Centers offers Certification through its “Site Specific” Program, meaning, your certification is good at all NCAC Ropes Courses.  Other Ropes Courses around the world may choose to accept the certification.
