This course is a must for anyone leading groups with youth. Better understand why youth act the way they do and how to manage the consequences. Learn practical techniques for therapeutically managing disruptive behaviors. We will teach you new tips and techniques that will allow manage behaviors like: refusal to participate, hyperactivity, constant disruption, inability to focus, refusal to follow instruction, excessive shyness, overbearing leader, inappropriate language/behavior and many more.   The course will focus on skills which enable the practitioner to change behavior by leading positively, building relationships, teaching strategically, structuring situations, and intervening actively when required. 

Leading Groups and Non-competitive Games
Learn fun, interactive, and new games.  Games can be played for purposeful fun as well an experiential learning tool.  Activities and games in this training can help groups break the ice, learn names, develop cooperation, break down barriers, inhibitions and improve communications.  No matter your venue or purpose this course will give you confidence and increase your effectiveness in leading the games for groups of all ages and abilities.  We will give you tips and pointers which will help you quickly select the ideal game and adapt it, if necessary, for your particular situation.
